1. Dust covers should be removed when devices are in use, to prevent air vents from getting blocked.
As the components inside the monitor could over heat. The monitor needs sufficient airflow to keep it cool and hence the life of the monitor will also increase . The same recommendation would be for your computer cabinet too. Keep the dust cover on only when the computer is not in use . Cover the cabinet and monitor 15 minutes after shutting down the computer
